Episode 1: The Pitch
BSB Founder and CEO, Kash Shaikh, is building three companies at once. Not exactly the recommended approach in any “Startup 101” webinar. But he believes he has the right team, right partners, and - most importantly - the right culture to do it. Kash believes winning as an entrepreneur requires the same mentality as winning as an athlete: Discipline, focus, consistency; talent meshed with hard work; and a whole lot of “reps”… And he pushes that mantra at BSB. It’s not for everybody. But for some people, there's no better place.
Episode 2: The Rookie
Culture is everything at BSB. Team-first, all-in, and high-bar. It’s aspirational. But it’s not for everyone. AJ Kool, a new hire from Butler University, is learning this firsthand as he dives into work as part of the BSB Sports team. AJ navigates the day to day of company building while trying to learn and absorb from his chances and his mistakes. The company believes in him, but he’s got to prove what he can do. He’s a rookie.
Episode 3: The Trains
From 51 countries to all 50 states, travel has always been a core part of Kash Shaikh’s DNA. But in 2013, a chance meeting with 8-year old “Michael Jackson” in Shirati, Tanzania set Kash on a new course, inspiring him to launch the original Besomebody app. After an unbelievably strong start in Austin, just three years and one Shark Tank appearance later, Kash was dead broke. So when the opportunity for a life-changing meeting came up nearly 1000 miles away, nothing was going to stop him from getting there.
Episode 4: The Legend
Barry Larkin, baseball Hall of Famer, has more than a few stories to tell. And from the moment Barry met Kash, he realized that while they have traveled different paths, they’ve shared a similar journey. Winning, losing, rebuilding, and constantly raising the bar in the pursuit of greatness. This bond between a professional athlete and a successful entrepreneur has already carried them far - but they’re about to embark on a new, world-changing mission together…and they don’t even know it yet.
